titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR SUSPENDING A MANIFOLD FAN GAS TURBINE ENGINE FROM AN AIRPLANE |
abstract | A bypass fan gas-turbine engine (12) on a supporting pylon (14) is rigidly connected via guide rods (18 and 20) and bolted flanges with metallic mutual contact, such that no relative movement can take place between them as a result of vibration. In contrast, the pylon (14) is mounted on the aircraft load-bearing structure (38 and 40) via connections which have elastic sleeves. The arrangement ensures greater robustness of the structure, consisting of the fan structure and the core gas generator. <IMAGE> |
