abstract | Compsns. (I) contain (A) 5-80 pts. (all pts.wt.) at least one elastic polymer, thermoplastic elastomer, or polymer or polymer mixt. contg. more than 60% elastic polymer calculated on elastomer-contg. polymer or polymer mixt., each contg. reactive gps. (B) 95-20 pts. polyolefin or polyolefin-contg. ionomer, each contg. reactive gps., where 2% E modulus of (I) or of shaped articles prepd. or thermo-formed therefrom is 50-600 N/sq.mm. (I) is prepd from (A),(B), and/or (A),(B), and opt. (C) 0.5-30pts. thermoplast other than (A) or (B) (where (A) has 2% E modulus differing from that of (B)) by mixing (A),(B), and (C) if used, in a plasticising appts., granulating, and cooling, or processing in extrusion, co-extrusion, calandering, casting, injection moulding, blow forming, or sintering process during or after plasticising. Opt. (A),(B), and (C) if used, are mixed, etc., in presence of, per 100pts. (A),(B), and (C), (D) 0.01-30 pts. at least one oxide, carbonate, dioxide, hydrate, or hydroxide of a metal, or hydrotalcity, silicate, finely divided cellulose, and/or finely divided carbon, as filler (E) 0.1-3 pts. at least one stabiliser, antioxidant, and/ or UV absorber (F) 0.1-3 pts. at elast one dyestuff and/or pigment (G) 0-2 pts. at least one lubricant and/or pogment (G) 0-2 pts. at least one lubricant and/or antistatic agent (H) 0-30 pts. at least one flame retardant (I) 0-12 pts. at least one chemical and/or physical blowing agent. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prepn. of films, sheets, panels, shaped articles, tubes, flexible pipes, and containers, partic. films and sheets for motor vehicles, esp. for inner cladding, or motor vehicle components or articles. (I) have improved resistance to heat-ageing, increased melt-strength for blow forming, and improved abrasion and scratching resistance, show reduced fogging, and adhere relatively well to paint and to polyurethane foams. |
