| abstract | The water heating boiler has a combustion chamber and a heat exchanger (9), and a condensation chamber in the exhaust stream in which a water spray nozzle is fixed. The condensation chamber takes the form of a tubular coil (3) of the same dia. as the exhaust pipe (4) from the combustion chamber (5), allowing a gravity outlet (7) for the condensate. The water nozzle (8) is located in its inlet (3) and a collecting chamber (14) is installed beneath the outlet (7). The coil (3) also conducts the exhaust fumes (11) into the chimney (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Water-heating boiler. Almost the whole of the exhaust heat is recovered. |
