| abstract |
A stove which burns solid fuel, esp. wood, has an initial combustion chamber (2), which receives the fuel (1). This initial combustion chamber is separated by a hollow wall (5) from the after-burn chamber (3) in which the combustion of the gases from the initial combustion chamber is completed. The hollow wall (5) has through holes (6) to allow the combustion gases to flow into the after-burn chamber. The hollow wall also serves as a duct through which secondary combustion air is supplied to the after-burn chamber. USE - Wood-burning stove. |
