abstract The mould is used to make tubular article (15) from ceramic material. The mould consists of a hollow cylinder (2), made of porous material, such as plaster of Paris, which is enclosed in a gas-tight housing (3). This housing (3) has an inlet (4) for supplying compressed air to the interior (5) of the mould (2). The housing also has an inlet for supplying the mould with ceramic in paste form. The mould (2) is surrounded by a layer of granular material (6) which fills the space between the outside surface of the mould (2) and the gas-tight housing (3). USE - Producing tubular ceramic articles.
