| abstract |
Ring seal (16) consisting of an annular body (17) with a sealing element (59) fitted into an annular groove (19) of the cylinder head (1) of an IC engine with a sealing ring (34) between the annular body and the wall of the groove. The annular groove is connected at two opposite points to the cooling medium circuit (46) and both connections (45) are sealed by the sealing rings (33, 34). USE/ADVANTAGE - Seal for a IC engine rotary slide valve body in which harmful temp. effects on the sealing ring are reduced. |
