METHOD FOR PRODUCING PLATE-SHAPED BODIES FROM A MIXTURE OF PLASTER AND FIBER FABRICS, AND SYSTEM FOR CARRYING OUT THIS METHOD |
abstract |
In order to produce plate-shaped bodies made of a mixture of plaster and fibrous materials, first a mat is produced in a known manner by spreading a wet mixture of plaster and fibres. The mat is then compressed in a first press (1) until a raw plate is obtained. This raw plate is transported through a subsequent wetting station (7) in which water is again applied to the top and bottom faces of the raw plate. The subsequently wetted raw plate is again compressed in a second press (9). The plates obtained after setting and drying have a considerably higher solidity than known staff plates. |
