The mechanical gear, especially for vehicles, has a step-gear the primary wheels of which have two primary shafts, and whose secondary wheels have a driven shaft. The primary and/or secondary wheels have couplings. A gear in front of the step-gear has two output shafts (A1,A2) which are connected directly to the primary shafts. Two frictionally connected couplings (B1,B2) between one output shaft and two gear-elements each have a freewheel (F1,F2). The two output shafts (A1,A2) are secondary shafts of a step gear with at least two steps (E1,E2). ADVANTAGE - The gear which is changed under load is more easily manipulated and has the gear which is being changed up to synchronously prepared before engaging. |
