The invention relates to a device for air-conditioning the passenger compartment and for cooling the drive system of electric vehicles, which device has an air conducting channel which is connected on the input side and output side to the passenger compartment and has heat exchangers arranged in series in the direction of air flow, one heat exchanger of which is integrated, together with a circulation pump and a cold storage unit, into a circuit, which leads via the evaporator of a refrigerating unit, of a refrigerant, and the other heat exchanger of which is integrated, together with a circulation pump and a heat accumulator, into a circuit, which leads via the drive system of the electric vehicle to its cooling system, of a heat conveying agent. In order to make the device less heavy while preserving the storage capacity of the cold storage unit and heat accumulator the latter are formed by a single energy store which can be alternately connected into the refrigerant circuit or heat conveying circuit by means of at least one change-over valve. The same liquid transmission medium is used as refrigerant and heat conveying agent. |
