| abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing propylene from propane, comprising the following stages: A) preparing a feed gas stream a containing propane; B) feed a feed gas stream a containing propane and an oxygen-containing gas stream to a dehydrogenation zone, where propane is subjected to non-oxidative catalytic autothermal dehydrogenation to propylene, and a product gas stream b containing propane, propylene, methane, ethane, ethylene, C- hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, steam and hydrogen; C) the product gas stream b is cooled and the steam is separated by condensation, whereby a steam-depleted product gas stream c is obtained; D) separating the carbon dioxide by absorption stripping, whereby a carbon dioxide-depleted product gas stream d is obtained; E) the product gas stream d is cooled by condensation and a liquid hydrocarbon stream e1 containing propane, propylene, methane, ethane, ethylene and C-hydrocarbons is separated, leaving the residual gas stream e2 containing methane, hydrogen and carbon monoxide, F) a liquid the hydrocarbon stream e1 to the first distillation zone and is separated into a stream f1 containing propane, propylene and C-hydrocarbons, and a stream f2 containing ethane and ethylene; G) stream f1 is fed to a second distillation zone and is separated into a product stream g1 containing propylene and a stream g2 containing propane and C-hydrocarbons. |
