abstract The present invention relates to new substituted heterocyclic, tetracyclic tetrahydrofuran derivatives having an affinity for serotonin receptors, in particular 5HT and 5HT receptors, as well as dopamine receptors, in particular dopamine D receptors, and also having the properties of reuptake inhibitors, norepine pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds of the invention, their use as a medicine, in particular for the prevention and / or treatment of a number of psychiatric and neurologists iCal disorders, in particular certain psychotic, cardiovascular and gastrokinetic disorders, and processes for their preparation. The compounds of the invention can be represented by the basic formula (I) and also include their pharmaceutically acceptable acid or base addition salts, their stereochemically isomeric forms and their N-oxide form, where all substituents are defined as in claim 1.
