titleOfInvention METHOD OF DISTANCE AUTHENTICATION OF A USER IN COMPUTER NETWORKS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF PROTECTED TRANSACTIONS USING A MOBILE PHONE
abstract The present invention relates to means for personal authentication of users when conducting transactions, including payment, using computer networks and mobile wireless networks. The proposed method provides remote user authentication in various computer networks, including the Internet, for secure transactions, including electronic commerce (e-commerce) and remote banking services (on-line banking, remote banking, direct banking, home banking, internet banking, PC banking, phone banking, mobile-banking, WAP-banking, SMS-banking, CSM-banking, TV-banking). The task is solved through the use of existing widely used hardware keys in the process of authenticating users - SIM-cards of mobile phones. For example, in GSM networks, these are SIM cards, and in UMTS networks, these are R-UIM cards. The method of user authentication in various computer networks, including the Internet, to confirm transactions is implemented using a mobile phone connected to the network of a mobile cellular operator (OMSS operator), which supports and leases short number service. The difference between the proposed method and the well-known one is that the administration of the web server pre-registers and rents in its name from the operator OMSS at least one mobile phone number of MSISDN Server or at least one short number of the Short Number Server. When registering on a web server, a user in addition to an account (login) and a registration password additionally reports at least one personal mobile phone number MSISDN User. During user authentication, the web server sends a code message over the computer network to the user, which the user returns to the web server through
