The invention relates to medicine, hepatology and pharmacology and can be used to obtain and use a pharmaceutical composition based on hepatoprotector and prebiotic for the treatment and prevention of liver diseases caused by impaired lipid-cholesterol metabolism and selected from the group: gallstone disease, alcoholic and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, biliary cirrhosis of the liver, cholesterosis of the gallbladder, drug and toxic liver damage. The pharmaceutical oral composition includes, as active principles, a hepatoprotector from the group of bile acids or essential phospholipids, and as a prebiotic, lactulose or fructooligosaccharides, taken in effective doses. A method of manufacturing a composition is also claimed. The invention helps to restore liver function in the shortest possible time and prevent relapse of the disease due to the restoration of cholesterol metabolism and intestinal biocenosis due to the synergistic interaction of hepatoprector and prebiotic, which also leads to the prevention of side effects of the hepatoprotector. |
