abstract The invention describes a photovoltaic device with an optical component that allows concentrating solar energy, and a method for manufacturing it. In particular, the present invention uses an embossed glass component produced in an online process that can concentrate solar energy and makes it possible to use a much smaller amount of photoelectric material in a photovoltaic device. The present invention also provides a method for online manufacture of embossed glass and a method for producing a photovoltaic device, including the embossed glass described herein.
