abstract The invention relates to a method for preparing a gel based on polyphenols of pomegranate peel for the treatment of gynecological inflammations. This gel is made on the basis of an extract of polyphenols of pomegranate peel as a raw material with the addition of auxiliary substances - a pharmaceutically acceptable material of the gel matrix - carbomer, hypromellose or sodium carboxymethylcellulose, propylene glycol or a mixture of glycerin and propylene glycol as a humidifier and twin as a solubilizer. The preservative is methyl paraben or parahydroxybenzoic acid ethyl ester, and the pH regulator is triethanolamine. An extract of pomegranate peel polyphenols is prepared, then it is dissolved in moisturizers and / or solubilizers and added to the dispersible gel matrix material, evenly dispersed, then preservatives and the remaining water are added and evenly mixed, adjusted to pH 4.0-5.0, thus obtaining gel based on polyphenols of pomegranate peel. The gel obtained by this method is used for the prevention and treatment of gynecological inflammations such as vaginitis or cervicitis caused by bacteria, and has the following characteristics: ease of use of the drug, better absorption and high efficiency.
