The invention relates to a method for producing a sugar product from lignocellulosic material, comprising the following steps: a) optionally, pretreatment of lignocellulosic material; b) optionally, washing the optionally pretreated lignocellulosic material; c) enzymatic hydrolysis of an optionally washed and / or optionally pretreated lignocellulosic material using an enzyme composition comprising at least two cellulases, and provided that the enzyme composition at least includes GH61; and d) optionally, recovering the sugar product; wherein during part of the time of enzymatic hydrolysis oxygen is added to the lignocellulosic material and less part of the time of enzymatic hydrolysis is added to the lignocellulosic material during part of the time of enzymatic hydrolysis, preferably oxygen is not added to the lignocellulosic material. |
