abstract | The invention relates to a polymer composition for a sealing insert for container lids, in particular, for fat-containing fillers, which has a composition such that the migration of composite components into the filler is reduced, as well as a method for manufacturing lids of the type "Press-on Twist-off" for containers sealing element based on polymer composition. The proposed polymer composition does not contain PVC and includes two different polymers, one of which is a copolymer, which includes polyethylene units and alkylene selected from propylene, butylene, hexene and, in particular, octene, and another statistical copolymer, which is a linear interpolymer and branched ethylene and at least one C 1 -C-olefin. The Shore A hardness of the proposed composition ranges from 45 to 90. The proposed composition demonstrates residual deformation under compression between 30 and 70% in accordance with ASTM B395-97 method B at 70 ° C. |
