titleOfInvention GAS SENSOR FOR INDICATION OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
abstract The invention relates to measuring equipment, can be used to create semiconductor gas sensors and portable autonomous gas analyzers for air quality control, detection of volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbon leakage and is aimed at increasing the sensitivity to the detection of volatile organic substances in the air, such as formaldehyde and benzene, and also to reduce its energy consumption. The principle of operation of the claimed device is based on measuring the resistance of a thick film of metal oxide (SnO2 or ZnO) deposited on an insulating substrate between the measuring electrodes. More specifically, the invention is aimed at replacing the heating of the sensitive layer with UV radiation, which leads to a decrease in operating temperature and energy consumption when detecting volatile organic substances in the air: formaldehyde, benzene. The invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used in portable autonomous measuring devices for air quality control, detection of toxic organic substances, hydrocarbon leakage.
