abstract A process is described to reduce the restart pressure of selected streams between paraffinic crudes, crude water emulsions and dispersions of hydrocarbons, at least partially structured, characterized by the application of a mechanical disturbance in said streams, under interruption conditions. of flow, presenting: - temperatures below the WAT temperature (Turbidity Point), for paraffinic crudes and raw water emulsions; - temperatures lower than the formation temperatures of said hydrates and pressures greater than the formation pressure of said hydrates, for dispersions of hydrocarbon hydrates. In addition, a method is described for measuring the internal diameter of an oil pipeline and the instantaneous viscosity of the fluid contained therein, characterized in that it is carried out by generating generated sound or infrasound waves, under flow interruption conditions, by means of fast flow transients, subsequently registered by a suitable measuring device and processed, thus obtaining the profile of the internal diameter of the duct and the instantaneous viscosity of the fluid contained therein.
