2-Hydroxy-3-naphthoamides of the formula <IMAGE> are described, in which R1 is hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl and R2 and R3 are identical or different and hydrogen, optionally substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl or together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached mean an optionally substituted heterocyclic radical. The compounds are suitable as azo components in diazo materials and couple to form blue dyes; they are manufactured in the usual way for connections. |
