Cardiac prosthesis constituted by a monobloc biventricular assembly which comprises a sealed housing (1, 2) implantable in the pericardial cavity, which contains a motor device constituted by two membranes (4, 10) working respectively in elongation and in deformation, and which constitute with the corresponding internal face of the housing, respectively the right (17) and left (18) ventricular spaces. The above-mentioned motor device is associated with activation means which supply it with supply pressures substantially equivalent to the physiological values of the ventricular pressures. The prosthesis is also associated with means for regulating the cardiac output which comprise a first slaving (36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41) to the aortic pressure, a second slaving (42,43, 44, 45, 46 , 47) to the filling pressure of the left ventricle, and a third control (50, 51, 52, 53, 38a) for controlling the change in the value of the aortic pressure.n n n Applications: study of the cardiocirculatory system and implantation. |
