Compounds of formula I. wherein p is the number 1 or 2 and Z is an optionally substituted phenyl, naphthyl, phenylene or naphthylene can be obtained in a simple and economical manner by a new process by using a halide of the formula in the presence of a base and certain palladium catalysts, such as palladium acetate, with corresponding acrylic acid derivatives. The compounds (I) or functional derivatives which can be prepared therefrom are suitable for producing light-crosslinkable polymers which are used above all as so-called photoresists. |
