The invention relates to a polyester raw material which contains finely divided, essentially homodisperse polymer particles, the polymer particles being produced and crosslinked by an emulsion polymerization process.n n n The polymer particles have a very narrow particle size distribution and are built into the polyester during its synthesis.n n n The invention further relates to films, in particular in stretched form, which are produced from the polyester raw material and which can also be used as a base film for the production of composite films. Furthermore, the raw material according to the invention is used for the production or with addition to other polymers for the production of fibers and threads.n n n The foils are preferably used as the basis for magnetic recording media or for capacitors, the fibers or threads for the production of tire cord. |
