Process for the defluorination of alkaliphosphate solutions |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the de-fluorination of alkali metal phosphate solutions by stirring an alkali metal phosphate solution which has been neutralized and pre-cleaned up to a pH greater than 6 with a compound of an alkaline earth metal at temperatures of 60 to 120 ° C., using alkaline earth metal compounds whose water solubility is less than 5 g / 1, are used with a grain size which is more than 50% less than 8 microns, and after a reaction time of 0.5 to 4 hours, the precipitate formed is separated from the purified alkali phosphate solution. |
