titleOfInvention METHOD FOR OBTAINING A WATER HEATER BODY FROM A PLASTIC MATERIAL BASED ON FIBER REINFORCED POLYESTER.
abstract Process for obtaining a plastic water heater body, in which, (1) a shell of plastic material is used, intended to constitute the interior of the water heater and also serving as an interior molding wall, said shell comprising at least one orifice, (2) the said shell is placed inside a mold in two parts, leaving a space between the outer part of the shell and the inside of the mold, the mold having an opening , (3) introducing water into the inner shell through said orifice, (4) pouring through said opening of the mold a liquid mixture consisting essentially of a polyester resin composition capable of foaming and polymerizing, by cooling the exterior of the mold at a temperature of approximately 10 to 15oC when casting the resin, in order to obtain a skin effect on the contact surface of the foam with the mold during the polymerization of the latter, in controlling the temperature of the resin being expanded tion and polymerization so that it does not exceed approximately 40oC.
