abstract A mono- or multiaxially stretch-oriented, heat-fixed film made of thermoplastic polyester with improved dimensional stability, increased abrasion resistance and improved stretchability is described; the characteristic features of which are that the film contains an addition of nucleating agent in an amount of 0.01 to 10.0% by weight, based on the weight of the polymer forming the film.
