titleOfInvention | Process for producing white and coloured resists on polyamide fibrous materials |
abstract | For classic etching printing on polyamide fiber materials using acid dyes, the very low wet and light fastness properties of the patterns produced in this way often mean that the technology is widely used in practice. When this known patterning method for wool is transferred to reserve prints produced with reactive dyes which are characterized by a higher level of fastness, perfect white reservation effects do not always occur, e.g. Sulfite compounds as reservation agents and reactive dyes with esterified β-hydroxyethylsulfone groups are considered as the reactive radical; in many cases, this means that colored effects with a clear hue cannot be achieved.n n n It has now been found that when using sulfite compounds and reactive dyes of the vinylsulfone type, the difficulties mentioned can be remedied if, instead of the ester compounds of these dyes, such dyes according to the invention are converted to their free vinylsulfone form before being applied to the pre-printed reservation agent Effects that react with one another with immediate and complete inactivation and result in flawless reservation effects at the relevant points on the colored surface. |
