titleOfInvention | Storage-stable coating composition |
abstract | Storage stable coating composition comprising at least one co-solvent for wetting powders, at least one dispersant, at least one wetting agent, at least one rheology modifier, at least one coalescing agent, at least one mineral base, at least one coalescence retarder and at least one binder consisting of an aqueous dispersion of polymer particles. The composition is characterized in that said dispersion comprises at least one interpolymer of (A) 95 to 99% by weight of at least one monomer chosen from alkyl acrylates and methacrylates in which the alkyl group has from 1 to 8 atoms. carbon and (B) from 1 to 5% by weight of at least one water-soluble monomer copolymerizable with the monomer (s) (A), said particles before a composite structure comprising a core and an envelope, and said envelope containing from 50 to 90 mol% of the water-soluble monomer (s) of the dispersion.n n n Application to the production of paints and varnishes having good applicability properties. |
