titleOfInvention X-ray shielded electronic circuit box
abstract The protective housing comprises a base (2) and a cover (4) fixed to the base, formed of a rigid mechanical structure (14) made of composite material consisting of a fiber-reinforced resin, a material of protection (16) against X-rays partially covering the external surface of the mechanical structure, this protective material X being formed from a resin matrix containing a powder of a metal with atomic number at least equal to 47 and of temperature of melting at least equal to 630 C, of a material (20a) formed of an element with a low atomic number forming the external surface of the cover, and possibly of an electrically conductive material (22) covering the internal surface of the mechanical structure.n n n Application to electronic circuits on board aircraft.
