titleOfInvention Process for manufacturing milled corn products and corn mill
abstract The invention relates to a new process for the production of grain products such as flour, semolina,nHaze, netc., whereby the material is roller-milled and sieved in many cases with the system of high-level milling. Doing sonfeaturednbeat, new the product at least twice over double roller grinding stages (70) without sieving between thenDouble vernto carry out grinding, with the double grinding in each case being sighted (152). Most notablynbeforenA corresponding new mill with at least two double grinding passages is preferred as an 8-roll milln(70)neducated. The new mill very particularly preferably has a combination of eight (70) and four-roll millsn(142,n151). An at least 20 to 50% larger screen area is used for double grinding.n n n Abstractn n n The invention concerns a new process for manunfacturing milled corn products such as flour, semolina, nmiddlings and similar, in which the material is repeantedly ground between rolls and sieved by the highngrinding technique. According to the new developmentnproposed, the grinding material is fed at least twicenthrough double roll grinding stages (70) without sievning betwen the stages, and the mill product of eachnstage is then sieved (152). A suitable new mill with atnleast two double milling passes and designed prefernbut as an 8-roll set (70) is preferably used. The newnmill preferably has a combination of eight- (70) andnfour-roll sets (142, 151). For the double grinding, thensieve surface is at least 20 to 50% greater than thatnused for single grinding.
