abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of Na dichromate by reacting Na chromate with acids, in addition to using sulfuric acid as acid additionally NaHS0₄, which is obtained as a waste product in the production of Cr0₃, and wherein the NaHSO₄ contaminated with Cr compounds with PO₄ ions in excess and the Cr (III) contained therein is precipitated as CrPO₄ at temperatures from 50 to 100 ° C and pH values from 3 to 6. |
