abstract | The invention relates to a method for labeling a nucleic acid in a nucleic probe comprising a nucleic-probe sequence capable of hybridizing with a complementary target nucleic sequence, in which the labeling of said nucleic acid is carried out by chemical bridging of a revelation system to allow subsequent detection of the hybrid thus formed. The revelation system is bridged to the Guanine or Thymine groups of a modified single-stranded nucleic acid which is incapable by itself of hybridizing to the target nucleic sequence and which is hooked to the nucleic-probe sequence by ligation. , covalent chemical bond or by hydrogen bonds. |
