A hair treatment composition is disclosed which comprises a detergent active compound, a cationic conditioning agent, and a reducing agent which is capable of breaking disulphide bonds in the hair. The reducing agent is preferably chosen from thiols, mercaptans, sulphites, bisulphites or mixtures thereof. n The product may be a liquid shampoo composition or a solid bar product. |
