Bile acid derivatives of formula I. where G is a bile acid residue, W is an active ingredient part of a drug and X is a link between the bile acid residue and active ingredient part, are ideal for introducing active ingredients into the enterohepatic cycle. The compounds I are absorbed and enter the bloodstream. This makes it possible, using the natural reabsorption of the bile acids, to achieve an improved absorption of non-absorbable or hardly absorbable pharmaceuticals.n n n For example, W can be a peptide, an antibiotic, an antiviral, an anti-cancer drug. a liver protector may be an antihyperlipidemic, a diuretic, an antihypertensive agent, a remnant inhibitor, a substance for the treatment of cirrhosis of the liver or a substance for the treatment of diabetes.n n n G means a bile acid residue in the form of the free natural or chemically modified acids, the esters and amides, the salt forms and forms denatured on alcohol groups.n n n X is a large number of pontics or a bond. |
