abstract Silicate glass building material with sufficient glass-forming components, which has the following constituent components and is essentially made from waste materials with silicate components, with appropriate proportions of Si0 2 , Ai 2 0 3 , CaO, MGO, Na 2 0 or K 2 0 or more of these compounds being added to the waste in order to achieve sufficient glass-forming properties. With this building material it is possible to bind toxic waste materials in a harmless manner.
