| abstract |
A ball (10) having a perforated outer casing (12) is provided with an inner membrane (32) which forms an inner enclosure therein, as well as a timer and a release mechanism. (36) used to open the inner membrane and to release its contents after the time expires on the timer. The contents flow through the perforated outer envelope, wetting the player who handles or catches the ball at the time of release. The timer is activated and the ball is used in a game in which it is thrown between participants who seek to avoid getting wet when the timer releases water from the interior of the ball. The invention also describes a game in which at least two players throw and catch the ball. |
