abstract Compounds of formula (1) are described, where R1 represents hydrogen or hydroxy, R2 represents hydrogen or methyl, R3 represents hydrogen or methyl, n is 1, 2 or 3, and R represents n-C1-3 alkyl, n- C2-3 alkenyl, cyclopropylemethyl, 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl or -C6H4-R4 (where R4 represents hydrogen or hydroxy), as well as their non-toxic salts and processes used for their preparation. A method of treating diabetes and the use of the compounds for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of diabetes is also described.
