titleOfInvention | Transformer or reactor core for a power transformer or a power reactor |
abstract | The yokes (4,5) and legs (1, 2, 3) of the core consist of multi-layer laminated cores. Sheets of different widths are used in the yokes, with narrower and wider sheets forming the successive sheet layers (41 to 47). The plates of the legs have the same dimensions; their sheet metal layers (11 to 17) are however offset in the longitudinal direction of the sheets. In the transverse direction of the core, both the yokes and the legs have comb-like structures, via which they are put together after the windings have been applied. The laminated core is clamped using tie rods and pressure plates (5 to 9) only in the transverse direction of the core in the area of the laminated core toothing.n n n Transformers and chokes equipped with such cores emit very little noise during operation; the noise is largely independent of the torques applied when the laminated cores are braced. |
