abstract An ocular lens material made of a copolymer of a npolysiloxane macromonomer of the formula (I): n n wherein A¹ is Y¹¹-R¹²- wherein Y¹¹ is an acryloyloxy ngroup, etc., and R¹² is a C₂₋₆ linear or branched alkylene ngroup; each of A² and A³ is -R²²-Y²¹ wherein Y²¹ is an nacryloyloxy group, etc., and R²² is a C₂₋₆ linear or nbranched alkylene group; U¹ is -X³¹-E³²-X³³-R³⁴- wherein nX³¹ is a covalent bond, etc., E³² is a -NHCO- group, etc., nX³³ is an oxygen atom; etc., and R³⁴ is a C₁₋₆ linear or nbranched alkylene group; each of U² and U³ is R⁴¹-X⁴²-E⁴³-X⁴⁴ nwherein X⁴⁴ is a covalent bond, etc., E⁴³ is a -CONH-group, netc., X⁴² is an oxygen atom, etc., and R⁴¹ is a C₁₋₆ nlinear or branched alkylene group; each of S¹, S² and S³ nis: n n wherein each of R⁵¹, R⁵², R⁵³, R⁵⁴, R⁵⁵ and R⁵⁶ is a C₁₋₃ nalkyl group, etc., K is 1 to 1,500, and L is 0 to (1,500 n- K); I¹ is -R⁶¹-X⁶²- wherein X⁶² is a covalent bond, netc., and R⁶¹ is a C₁₋₆ linear or branched alkylene group; neach of I² and I³ is -X⁷¹-R⁷²- wherein X⁷¹ is a covalent n nbond, etc., and R⁷² is a C₁₋₆ linear or branched alkylene ngroup; and T¹ is: n n with a monomer having an unsaturated double bond ncopolymerizable with the polysiloxane macromonomer.
