abstract A resonance circuit tag comprising an insulating substrate and a resonance circuit formed on the substrate, which circuit having at least a capacitor and an inductor, wherein a dielectric of the capacitor satisfies at least one of the following requirements:n (a) being foamable by heating and (b) being capable of changing its thickness by not less than 10% by heating. The resonance circuit tag of the present invention offers various advantages in that it can easily cease functioning, does not inhibit labor-saving, speedy operation at the cash register, facilitates large-scale production and that it eliminates degradation of the function of the article to which the tag has been attached.
