titleOfInvention Method for increasing the gloss of a surface
abstract Methods of increasing the gloss of coated surfaces, defuzzing wood surfaces, and polishing metallic surfaces are described. The inventive methods employ abrasive articles comprising abrasive fibers, the abrasive fibers comprising a polymeric binder having microabrasive particles engulfed therein. The abrasive articles may be tufted, nonwoven, or in brush form. Methods of using the articles in dry and spray buffing in surface conditioning of various surfaces are presented.
