Process for the preparation of aziridines of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R <1>, R <2>, R <3>, R <4>: hydrogen, C1- to C8-alkyl, C3- to C8-cycloalkyl or Aryl and; R <5>: mean hydrogen, C1- to C8-alkyl, C3- to C8-cycloalkyl, aryl, benzyl, C1- to C8-hydroxyalkyl or C1- to C8-aminoalkyl, by reacting alkanolamines of the general formula II <IMAGE > in which the substituents R <1>, R <2>, R <3>, R <4> and R <5> have the meaning given above, in the gas phase at temperatures from 200 to 600 ° C. and a pressure from 0.001 to 5bar of heterogeneous catalysts by using pre-sintered molded parts with a uniform pore size in the macro-pore range as heterogeneous catalysts. |
