abstract |
The invention intends to provide a liquid chromatographnand chromatography which can perform analysis at a highernspeed with clearer separation between peaks. The liquidnchromatograph comprises a separation column (10), a buffernpump (7) for feeding a plurality of buffers 1, 2, 3 and 4ninto the separation column (10), a sampler (9) disposed in anflow path between the buffer pump (7) and the separationncolumn (10) for introducing a sample to be analyzed into thenflow path, and a reaction coil (14) for mixing and thennreacting amino acids separated by the separation column (10)nwith a ninhydrin reagent. The separation column (10) isnsized so that a ratio (L1/R) of its length L1 to its innerndiameter R is not more than 10. The particle size of ionnexchange resin filled in the separation column (10) isnselected to be not more than 4 µm. |
