The present application relates to a transparent oil-in-water emulsion in which the oil globules have an average size of less than 100 nm and which comprises at least one silicone surfactant. The emulsion according to the invention is stable on storage and can contain significant amounts of oil while retaining good transparency. It may contain heat-sensitive active agents and be used in particular in the cosmetic field and in dermatology for the treatment and care of the skin, mucous membranes, nails, scalp and hair. |
