The invention provides:n lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) derivatives of formulan n whereinn R 1 and R 2 are independently selected from H or R 3 R 4 ;nprovided that at least one of R 1 and R 2 is H, but both R 1 and R 2 are not simultaneously H; R 3 is a bond or a saturated straight or branched chainnhydrocarbon of 1-10 carbon atoms when R 4 is COR 5 , or R 3 isna saturated straight or branched chain hydrocarbon of 1-10ncarbon atoms wherein R 4 is NHR 5 ; R 5 is selected from H, L or LX; L is a linking group; and X is a detector or carrier molecule bound through L, a reagent for quantitation of lysergic acid and its metabolites innbiological fluid samples by an immunoassay, which comprises anlabel-conjugate of formula I an improved immunoassay for quantitation of LSD and itsnmetabolites in biological fluid samples which utilizes that label-conjugate. |
