Dyes suitable for use in the fabrication of colornfilters are of molecular weight 500-4000. They containnone or more photopolymerizable substituents and arenrepresented by one of the following formulae:n D-(B-Z) m and D-E-D nwherein D represents a chromophoric nucleus, Band Endenote connecting groups, Z is -COOR 9 , -CONR 10 R 11 , -OCOR 12 ,n-OCOOR 13 , -OCONHR 14 , -NHR 15 or -NR 16 R 17 and mis an integer ofn1-10. Also described are photosensitive resist resinncompositions containing the dyes as well as color filtersnfabricated by curing the photosensitive resistnresin compositions. |
