To process condensate from a compressed air system, the condensate removed from the compressed air system is subjected to an oil-water separation. In order to achieve the most effective oil-water separation possible, the water content of the condensate is evaporated by air exposure, preferably using air preheated via the waste heat of the compressed air system, and continuously discharged to the outside, and the remaining oil concentrate is collected and discontinuously removed. |
