abstract The present invention relates to a rotary filling machinenfor filling containers with liquids, provided with anplurality of valve assemblies (3) which are mounted on anrotating platform (2) and each of which is provided withna duct (4) intercepted by an obturator (5) for regulatingnthe supply of liquid from a storage tank (6) to ancontainer (7) and with an air return pipe (8). Ancentring cone (10) designed to receive in abutment thenmouth of the container (7) and to cause opening of thenobturator (5) is mounted at the bottom of each valvenassembly (3). The present invention is characterized innparticular by the fact that it comprises a flushingnstation (14) associated with the rotating platform (2),nbut fixed with respect thereto and provided with at leastnone collecting tray (15) which is actuated by movingnmeans (16) so as to be positioned underneath the valvenassemblies (3) passing above it. For this purpose firstnactuator means (17) for performing opening of eachnobturator (5) when valve assemblies (3) pass above thencollecting tray (15) are provided. Each valve assemblyn(3) also comprises a blow-in pipe (23) provided with annoutlet mouth (60) connected to the bottom end of the pipen(4) so as to be able to introduce inert gas inside thencontainer (7) to be filled before, during and after a nstep involving filling of the container (7) itself.nMoreover, each air return pipe (8) is provided with anthird valve (31) which is actuated so as to open andnclose by activation means (32) integral with the centringncone (10).
