titleOfInvention | HGF mutant and its use as an anticancer agent |
abstract | An antitumor agent containing the alpha -chain protein ( alpha -fragment) of an HGF (hepatocyte growth factor) as an active ingredient. The alpha -fragment as the active ingredient functions as an antagonist which specifically inhibits the ability of cancer cells to invade or metastasize by means of HGF. This drug is specifically effective in inhibiting the invasion and metastasis of cells of cancers such as gallbladder and lung cancers, which are highly metastatic and result in a high lethality. It is used as an antitumor agent for cancer therapy, prevention, etc., and is highly useful clinically. <IMAGE> |
