Reduction in first slide bias and improved enzyme stability by incorporation of diaryl tellurides in the gravure layer of dry-film immunoassay elements |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a dry immunoassay analytical element for assaying a ligand, ncomprising a support bearing: (a) a label layer comprising an enzyme labeled ligand or an enzymenlabeled receptor; (b) a spreading layer ; (c) a receptor layer comprising a fixed concentration of annimmobilized receptor for the ligand; and (d) a gravure layer comprising a diaryl telluride. A preferednembodiment of the present invention further comprises a vanadyl salt. The present invention furthernrelates to a method for performing an assay using an element as described above. |
